For 50 years, Peniel Baptist Academy has offered students a Christian-based education. Along with academics, the Academy has grown in the area of arts and athletics. Peniel Baptist Academy has been a competing member of the Florida Christian Athletic League (FCAL) and the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) as a 1A school in football, volleyball, baseball, basketball, soccer, and softball for over 15 years. Academy students, as well as local homeschool students, can participate in the Academy's athletic program beginning in the 6th grade. One pressing need we have is for a gymnasium. The Academy basketball and volleyball teams are currently using other facilities. The open pavilion on campus is limited in its capacity and weather greatly affects the physical education of the students. Our vision is to provide the Academy with a modern, functional, cost-effective, facility to serve as a gymnasium for indoor sports with the capability of hosting large events. The process of building a multi-purpose facility starts with consulting architects and engineers which is a costly endeavor. We are asking our Academy families and the community to share our vision and help Peniel Baptist Academy make this gymnasium a reality.
